This website is delivered via Cloudflare (proxy and CDN) and runs on a server provided by Hetzner in Germany / the EU.

When you access the website, technically necessary data is automatically collected, in particular the IP address, date and time of access, and the file requested. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the secure and stable operation of the website.

Without your consent we set no analytics or marketing cookies and do not access your device storage. Storing information on your device, and accessing information already stored there, generally requires your consent under Section 25 TDDDG (Germany's Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act), unless strictly necessary.

To measure our own Google ads we use Google Ads conversion tracking (gtag.js, conversion ID AW-18125103490; provider Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) with Google Consent Mode v2. The tag loads on every page but, until you consent, operates in "denied" mode: it sets no cookies and does not access your device storage; it only sends anonymous, cookieless signals with redacted advertising identifiers to Google, transmitting your IP address (legal basis Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in measuring our advertising without accessing your device).

To measure our own Meta ads (Facebook/Instagram) we use the Meta Pixel (provider Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland; further processing by its parent company Meta Platforms, Inc., USA, is possible). Unlike the Google tag, the Meta Pixel only loads once you have chosen "Accept all" in the cookie banner (legal basis Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, consent); no data is transmitted to Meta before you consent. The Meta Pixel sets cookies and collects, among other things, your IP address, device and browser information, and your interaction with our website (page view, starting a check, purchase) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. Processing in the USA cannot be excluded; Meta Platforms Ireland Limited relies on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for this purpose.

Only when you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner does it switch to full conversion tracking with cookies (Google and Meta) (legal basis Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, consent). For the AI visibility check, we transmit the information you enter (e.g. website address, industry, city) to the AI providers we use, namely OpenAI, Anthropic, Google (Gemini) and Perplexity, for automated analysis. The legal basis is the performance of the check you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Data processing agreements with the processors we use are in place or will be concluded pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. As some of these providers are based outside the EU, transfers rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or comparable safeguards.

Inquiry data that does not lead to a purchase is deleted after 12 months.

We use the payment provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland, and Stripe, Inc., USA) to process payments for the full audit. When you make a payment, your payment data is transmitted directly to Stripe and processed there. The legal basis is the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For transfers to the USA, Stripe relies on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to the processing of your personal data. You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).
